Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, 200hrs
Maddie is a Horticulture student at the University of Maryland. She began practicing yoga back in high school to re-connect with her mind and body while recovering from an eating disorder. It was not until recently that she has really discovered how yoga can help one connect with their spirit. She wishes to spread the knowledge and benefits of yoga to others, promoting self love, self discovery, balance, and community. Maddie received her 200 hour training through the Marianne Wells Yoga School. In class, her goal is to encourage mind, body and spirit connection, along with guiding people through a practice involving both strength and relaxation. She strongly believes that your mat can become a place of transformation, learning, connection, and tranquility.
