Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, 200hrs
Troy Hanford has been practicing warm power flow since 2009. In 2015, Troy completed a 200-hour teacher training program at Down Dog in Bethesda and began leading others in the practice of a very athletic, full-body, power flow yoga sequence. His classes are always open to all levels (including beginners!). Troy's classes are designed to strengthen, lengthen and tone your muscles, open your heart and your mind, improve balance, tighten your core, and burn a few hundred calories. If you are feeling stressed out or overwhelmed, take a break, take a class with Troy, you will feel better.
When Troy is not taking or teaching a yoga class, he is working as a live event video producer/director in Washington, DC. He is the empty nester, the father of two daughters currently attending college, one at Drexel, the other at University of Oregon. Troy is a former college athlete, volunteer fire fighter and emergency medical technician, youth basketball and soccer coach, and carpool driving dad.
